As a Strategy Consultant, you will be working directly with our clients (students and family), who will have the highest expectations of our services. You will provide an elite level of industry expertise and experience, aiming for an outstanding client experience. You will be a team player, sharing your knowledge and experience, and will also support other departments as appropriate including taking part in webinars, joining sales calls, or consulting on projects and product development.
What success looks like:
Service delivery Provide overarching admissions strategies to Regular and/or VIP students by creating individualised plans and executing on them in collaboration with the rest of the students' Crimson team (Student Success Manager, Academic Tutors, etc.)
Regularly meet with clients (both online and in-person) to provide exemplary level of service (also via KakaoTalk)
Maintain expert knowledge of high school curricula, extracurricular and leadership choices, summer program applications, and standardised test planning to make recommendations regarding admissions strategies
Utilise in-depth knowledge of institutions of higher learning to guide students and parents towards attainable school goals, working with them to create lists of best-fit schools of varied competition to maximise acceptance chances
Maintaining a high level of communication with VIP students and families outside of formal sessions through various channels (e.g., email, etc.)
Expertise Sharing existing expertise from your experience and background with the team
Seek to further your expertise Developing specialist knowledge or skills related to strategy
Seeking professional accreditation
Strategy team contributions Liaising with your manager on how best to share your expertise & experience to contribute to the team. This could include:
Leading and contributing to discussions in regional pod meetings
Answering questions and sharing ideas regularly on Slack (i.e. if a question comes up on a topic you have the expertise to help with, you should be aiming to do so).
Acting as a role model, guide, and mentor to colleagues
Developing or contributing to a resource, project, guru card, or training materials.
Inter-departmental contributions A local strategist will be actively willing to use their expertise and experience to assist other departments (especially the local SSM team), as time allows from their other responsibilities. These could include some or all of the following:
Taking part in sales consultations, representing the role of a strategist, and/or for pre-allocations
Contributing to webinars, and/or other marketing materials, e.g. blogs and podcasts
Consulting on product development
Sharing your expertise with SSMs on best working practices
Representing strategy in your country team meetings (i.e. with CMs, AAs, marketing and SSMs)
What success looks like:
Ensuring consistently high service quality
Having a comprehensive knowledge of your home admissions system, and be actively seeking to continually further develop your expertise
Consistently rated high pass or honours performer from Strategy KPIs
Maintaining strong track record in student outcomes
Having and developing unique selling points in your profile, for example track record, expertise, and consulting and admissions experience.
Resourceful and resilient in overcoming challenges
Solution-oriented, identifying problems and proposing solutions
Self-motivated and able to learn and progress independently
Seen as a leading expert in your team, who colleagues both in and outside your team look to for advice.
Actively searching for insights and information outside your immediate comfort zone, and considering geographical and cultural contexts.

Graduated from a top 15 U.S. university
Understand the intricate needs of a VIP/high-profile student and family
A passion for coaching young adults and an appreciation of foreign cultures
Planning and organizational skills
Graduate-level English reading, writing and editing skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Bi-lingual in English and Korean is a plus
Resilience when working independently under pressure
4+ years experience in education, coaching, tutoring and admission consulting
Track record of top 30 admission results for students consistently each app cycle
Available to work with students in the APAC (and USCA) regions
