As an integral part of the B&D Group, a prominent manufacturer specializing in custom sectional, roller doors, and openers, this position primarily entails managing local & national deliveries (70%) and general warehousing duties (30%).
Depending on the experience you bring, the role will be required to assist on occasion with line haul (Class 5) relief driving, this will require nights away from home.
A Forklift (F Endorsed) License and a minimum of a Class 2 Driver's License are required for this position, with a Class 5 Driver's License being preferred.
Along with working at height / training this is a well-rounded and rewarding opportunity with work hours between 6am 2.30pm.
Responsibilities Actively assist team members Communicate delivery timeframes to customers in advance and ensure vehicles are well-maintained for deliveries Meet daily delivery targets and promptly communicate any known delivery issues to relevant stakeholders Manage working hours and expenses in alignment with business demands, while adhering to quality standards and company policies Skills & Experience Possess a valid Class 2 to 5 Driver's License and a Forklift F Endorsement Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with a track record in logistics and warehouse operations Demonstrated success in achieving productivity, quality, and process improvement Background in warehouse and dispatch operations, preferably with experience in garage door or construction industries and / or fragile freight, along with working at heights training Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills, effective time management, and resilience Why DuluxGroup?
