We are looking for someone who can do cover work Saturdays at our St Martins venue and Saturdays at our Waimiri venue. You will need to have access to a car to transport the football equipment to the venues each week!
Role Purpose:
Are you a kid at heart? Love working with children? We are currently looking for someone to join our team at Little Kickers in Canterbury North. If you are confident and outgoing, great with young children, 100% reliable, a good team worker, and interested in contributing to the success of an exciting children's activity business, then we would love to hear from you! You will need to have high energy, a fun and expressive personality, and the ability to literally get down to a child's level! You need to be patient, committed, and interested in contributing to the development of young children. Being a Little Kickers coach is ideal experience for those interested in a career in education or sports.
About the Role:
Part-time coaching position.
Full training provided, so no football or coaching experience necessary.
You must have excellent verbal communication skills and be physically fit for this role, which involves leading the conduct of football-based physical activity classes for young children.
The coach will be required to follow the lesson plans set out for each session while ensuring all children have fun and are supported throughout the class.
We use imagination as a means of learning, so you must be happy to act up and be a monkey for the day, pirate, spaceman; the more imaginative, the better. You'll be amazed at how we teach our pre-schoolers football skills!
A current First Aid Certificate would be preferred.
A football coaching qualification is not essential but will be highly regarded along with any other experience working with children in an educational role.

The ability to follow directions and has excellent communication skills.
Must be able to think on the spot and adapt to change.
Must be available Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sunday mornings.
