The Role
As a Team Leader, you will direct and manage a team to achieve work objectives while prioritizing safety and quality. Your leadership will ensure that our operations meet and exceed regulatory and customer requirements. You will also:
Conduct WTC competency assessments and audits, ensuring equipment and tools are compliant and in good working order.
Collaborate with supervisors to scope jobs accurately, directing resources to achieve objectives efficiently.
Strive to meet and exceed performance targets, implementing effective problem-solving strategies.
Provide day-to-day supervision and support to your team, enhancing communication and productivity.
Proactively identify opportunities for business improvement related to safety and work practices.
Uphold a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with HSQE requirements.

Who we're looking for
To secure this role, you'll hold a current practising licence along with strong knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements and the relevant Parts of the Safe Manual – Electricity Industry (SE-MI). You will also have:
Relevant trade qualifications and at least 5 years of post-qualification overhead lines experience.
NZ Driving Licence.
Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable to diverse environments.
