About You To be considered for this role, you will need to: Have your current EWRB Licence or be in the process of obtaining it.
Be a fully qualified Line Mechanic, ready to head straight into the field with at least a Level 4 NZQA equivalent qualification.
Demonstrate excellent health and safety standards.
Be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Be community-focused and possess strong communication skills to meet the needs of those around you.
As a line mechanic, you will be responsible for: Installing both overhead and underground powerlines.
Responding to faults and outages.
Assisting with maintenance and repair work as needed.
Testing lines and fault finding.
Constructing new lines.
