Lighting Technician - Show Light and Power - Auckland Show Light and Power is a well-known company that has a strong influence and presence in the events industry.

We have locations throughout the country and the work is varied and expansive.
We have positions available for people that are motivated, self-managing, team players, punctual, reliable, and must be flexible to varied working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Positions are a minimum of 40 hours per week but can go well over those hours.
The Role: Installing event power and lighting equipment on site Working at different sites for various events Ensuring safety for staff, vendors, and clients throughout the event Communicating & liaising with the events team to meet client demands Delivering quality service and following on-site leader's instructions Possessing an excellent work ethic and a passion for the events industry Being comfortable working in a team environment Key Relationships: Reporting to the General Manager, Production Manager & On-Site Leaders Working with Events Clientele, subcontractors, business partners, and the wider business group Skills, Experience and Personal Characteristics: Events and entertainment industry experience is preferable but not necessary Full driver's license A "can-do" attitude and willingness to complete the job at hand Core Competencies: Experience with scissor lifts, boom lifts & forklifts (training will be provided) Strong communication skills Ability to own all parts of your role What we expect from you: Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills Problem solver Excellent team player Calm under pressure If the above applies to you, we would like to hear from you.
