We are reminding everyone that the Maoribank Boardwalk Track remains closed to the public as more slips are likely, and the track remains unsafe for public use.
The affected area sits on private land and until a full assessment is completed, and an agreement with the landowner has been made, the path will remain closed.

H2O Xtream is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team at one of the region's premier aquatic facilities. The newly upgraded H2O Xtream is due to reopen in early 2025 and will be one of the leading aquatics facilities in the region with a rapid river ride, wave and leisure pools, hot spots and three hydro-slides.
As a Lifeguard, you will be expected to undertake poolside duties while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will also contribute to maintaining a quality facility and assist with the operation of pool plant systems.
To be successful in this role you must:
Be physically fit with the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time;
Have great people communication skills;
Be motivated and professional;
Be able to swim and obtain the lifeguard qualification;
Be available to work all shifts of the 3-week rotating roster which includes weekdays, weekends, day and late shifts between the hours of 5.00am – 10.30pm.
