Our friendly Aquatic Services team have 2 Permanent Part-Time Lifeguard positions available. Hours available are Saturday & Sunday 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Flexibility is key as Splash Palace is open Monday to Friday 5.30am - 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am - 6pm, and our ideal candidate would be able to pick up extra shifts. The starting rate for this position is $23.15 with the ability to increase, based on skills and experience. Key responsibilities for this role include: Provide constant supervision of pools, including rotating as directed by the Supervisor, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all customers and staff. Participate in the delivery of safe and effective aquatic operations, including the daily programme, as directed by the Supervisor. Clean or tidy areas where required to ensure pools, pool surrounds, seating, dressing rooms, toilets, showers, staff room and store rooms are clean and tidy to a satisfactory level. Respond to all accidents and incidents safely and effectively, and reporting these promptly. Complete pool water testing regularly according to procedures and NZS5826:2010 standards.
