Life and Identity Services Officers (LISOs) cover a broad range of duties that are critical to providing our customers with seamless service and a great experience across our Passport, Citizenship and Births, Deaths, and Marriages services.
Whether it is at the frontline - engaging directly with customers by phone, email or at our counter sites, or by completing the important assessments and advice required to deliver our services - LISOs make a big contribution to the positive reputation of Kawai Ki te Iwi - our Service Delivery and Operations branch.
We are seeking a number of motivated and engaged people to join our teams based in 12 - 14 Nicholls Lane, Carlaw Park, Parnell.
To be successful in this role you will be service delivery orientated - willing to learn and understand the unique needs of our customers (New Zealand citizens and people wanting to be citizens) and provide the advice and service they require to achieve their aspirations.
Your experience might come from customer service or administration type roles which will have provided you with transferrable skills.
You will have proven you are able to consistently meet high standards of accuracy and timeliness and are able to follow operating policies and procedures when accessing and making decisions on customer requests and applications.
With your strong customer focus, you will champion the needs of our customers, identifying opportunities to improve both our services and access to them.
You will be comfortable supporting and assisting our customers to transact in a digital environment as more and more services become available online.
