The Role The role of Licensing Analyst, as part of the global Licensing Team, is primarily to support ongoing growth of the organisation by managing the internal (SOX and general business process) control requirements and licensing and enablement phases pertaining to the life cycle of all customer orders processed via sales channels.
The Licensing Analyst will be involved in projects involving process innovation aiming for greater automation of our contract, licensing and invoicing systems including the wider Seequent and group Business Systems projects, including Salesforce Lightning, SAP, Workday, etc.
The ability to multi-task and prioritise work is important.
Seequent's environment is dynamic and the ability to adapt to changing priorities is key for this role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Oversight of Sales Processing and Fulfilment Work closely with the Licensing Manager to manage sales orders through their life cycle, including pre-close checks to ensure commitment has been received from the customer, issuing of licences, invoicing of customers.
Provide specific guidance to Sales team members related to the areas of opportunity processing and successful closure.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with customer-facing teams to ensure sales orders satisfy requirements and sales processing timelines and backlogs are known.
Support maintenance of sales (Salesforce), licensing (10Duke, FlexLM, XID, ImagoMP, LicenseSpring) and invoicing (SAP/Workday) systems by providing feedback on requirements and participation in testing.
Provide information as required for compliance reporting on sales, licensing and invoicing activities.
Support the tracking of customer payments and manage debt collection.
Provide regular reporting to management on the status of customer orders and invoices.
What success looks like Customers receive their accurate order on a timely basis.
Sales colleagues are successfully guided to ensure efficient opportunity closure.
Accurate reports are available on the status of sales orders, licenses and invoices.
Compliance with all regulatory requirements, in particular SOX.
Business Analysis, Systems & Automation Work closely with key stakeholders in Seequent Operations, Seequent Information Services, group Revenue Accounting and Finance, Seequent Platform Services, Legal and the commercial and product teams, to analyse and document current processes and workflows related to sales, licensing and contract management to identify and progress business/system improvement opportunities.
Work with relevant stakeholders as above to design more efficient, reliable, accurate and scalable processes and workflows.
Continually look for opportunities to improve the automation and integration of various internal systems related to accounts receivable and licensing such as ERP, CRM and our bespoke licensing system(s).
What success looks like Seequent's processes and workflows related to sales processing, licensing and contract management are clearly documented.
Over time, Seequent's processes become more automated, internal systems are integrated and reporting is accurate and accessible.
Compliance with all regulatory requirements, in particular SOX.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have: Sound administration experience.
Would suit someone who is currently in a Contracts Admin, Commercial Admin, Business Admin or Accounting Admin type role.
Any exposure to sales and licensing would be beneficial.
Knowledge, skills and experience in order management.
Proven experience with sales/CRM, software licensing and/or financial systems.
A Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or related discipline is not required but would be an advantage.
Good oral presentation skills and quality report writing skills.
Good quantitative skills.
Must be diligent in following due processes and procedures.
Confident interacting with all levels of the organization.
Attention to detail.
Analytical and able to work in a methodical way.
Word processing, spreadsheet and customer recording system skills.
High energy level.
Persistent, patient and innovative.
Able to work independently, as well as be a team player.

Working conditions Given the global dispersion of the Licensing Team, there is an occasional requirement to facilitate/attend calls/meetings across different time zones.
Direct reports (Y/N) You will be working closely with the Seequent Revenue, Operations and Information Systems teams, as well as the commercial, product and legal teams and other colleagues from around the Bentley/Seequent group.
