The Role We are seeking a full-time Licensed Cadastral Surveyor or Senior Survey Technician to assist with our ever-growing and varied workload in Christchurch.
Your role will include project planning, including key milestones and deliverables. You will be responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting the progress of works, close liaison with Directors on job progress, and assistance with the QA of cadastral surveys. You will be required to supervise and administer contracts, attend client meetings, and undertake business development work associated with specific projects.
You would be involved in assisting the leadership team with general office management and identifying opportunities and issues, interviewing and assisting with HR duties associated with surveying staff as required, and training and assisting graduate surveyors and technicians.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, have good communication skills, and be able to self-manage.

Requirements: Relevant tertiary education (BSurv) for LCS Licensed Cadastral Surveyor/Senior Survey Technician A minimum of 5 years' experience in the New Zealand Surveying Industry Experience with LandOnline is essential Being a member of Survey and Spatial NZ (S+SNZ) is desirable Experience with 12D, Civil3D, and AutoCAD is desirable Experience in a wide variety of complex cadastral surveys is desirable If you are looking to progress your career with the opportunity to upskill, then contact Hannah for a confidential chat or send expressions of interest with a CV to .
