As a key member of the team, you'll oversee your own costings and budgets, while also managing small field teams for on-site work.

The role offers a unique opportunity for career advancement, with the current director intending to groom you for a directorship position with eventual succession to take over the business. You'll work autonomously and confidently, playing a pivotal role in the firm's succession planning efforts.

Responsibilities include producing plans for large subdivisions and delegating tasks to assistants and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment. Despite having a team of six in the field and additional office support, this isn't a "one-man-band" operation looking to offload a struggling business.

Ideal candidates for this role will be licensed surveyors with at least 5 years of experience, preferably with exposure to cadastral, engineering, and construction projects. Leadership skills and the ability to engage with clients are crucial.
