This exciting opportunity to lead Timaru District's Libraries and Service Centres as the new Libraries Manager may be for you.The Timaru District Libraries strive to lead the way in the library world- we embrace technology and advancement, and our successful applicant will drive development and community engagement in this space.As the Libraries Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading the Timaru Library, the Temuka Library and Service Centre and the Geraldine Library and Service Centre. We need you to bring your high energy, strong communication skills and passion. We are looking for someone who will set the strategic direction and create a future vision for the teams, the libraries and the district.This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and innovative people leader to manage our highly motivated Library Teams. To be successful in this role, you will need to:Be dynamic in your approachInspire and motivate your teamEngage with our community to meet their needsIf you're excited about leading a team, shaping the future of library services and delivering amazing services everyday, we want to hear from you!This is a permanent role and offers a minimum 40 hours per week. As a leadership role there may be occasional rostered weekend/oncall requirements for this role. The annual salary for this role is $110,207 - 129,656 per annum.
