A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as our Librarian – Programme & Events, based at East Coast Bays Library. You will work closely across the board to co-ordinate programmes and events for both the East Coast Bays and Albany libraries.If you have proven leadership, great organisation and planning skills, exceptional customer service skills & an outstanding team spirit, please read on!This is a 38 hour position which focuses on developing closer relationships between our libraries and our community. The goal is to understand the needs of the people living in the Hibiscus and Bays and Upper Harbour Local Board areas & how we can provide innovative and interesting co-designed programming.Libraries play a key role in providing a welcoming space and delivering professional services. This role collaborates and co-designs with the community inside and outside the library to reinforce this goal.The role is currently based at East Coast Bays Library and will form part of the leadership team in library day-to-day operations and supporting the team.
