A full time, fixed term, one-year parental leave cover opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Liaison Advisor to join our Hawkes Bay Liaison and Engagement team.
The Liaison Advisor is based in our EIT| Te Pukenga reporting to the Team Leader, Liaison & Engagement and will be responsible for:
Supporting the development and implementation of strategies to increase student enrolments
Maintaining up-to date knowledge and awareness of the full range of EIT support services and programmes
Assisting students with their programme selections, course applications and scholarships
Engaging with key stakeholders, community groups, organisations, local secondary schools to promote learning opportunities
Organizing and hosting campus visits for schools and events for future students on and off campus

To be successful in this role you will have:
Public relations, marketing and promotional experience or a related degree
A full driver's license
Experience and knowledge working at the industry, schools and the tertiary sector
Have a level of credibility with the industry and education providers
Customer service orientated focus
High degree of professional judgement, personal initiative, commitment and integrity
