As an experienced client-facing System Engineer, you will be on-site, offering hands-on IT assistance and leadership. You thrive on engaging with clients beyond the office environment. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide proactive IT leadership to local clients through analysing and evaluating system design to align their technology needs with their business objectives.
Research, analyse, plan, test, and execute network infrastructure updates and changes, ensuring best practice configuration and integration of multiple operating systems.
Translate complex technical solutions into clear, understandable terms for clients, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Cultivate strong client relationships, prioritising their satisfaction through the delivery of top-tier IT services.
Uphold a composed and confident demeanour under pressure, reassuring clients and delivering optimal solutions.
Maintain thorough client IT documentation including comprehensive records of configurations, solutions, and interactions, to provide a foundation for efficient communication and tailored support.
Deliver exceptional client communications by providing proactive follow-ups and regular status updates, delivering transparency with clients and our internal team to ensure everyone is well-informed and aligned.
Key Attributes
With an applicable degree, certifications, or equivalent IT experience, you bring a robust knowledge base and a hunger to showcase your skills both internally and to our valued clients.

A current NZ Driver's License
Experience
Managed Service Provider experience is essential.
At least 5+ years of IT industry experience in Microsoft Server technologies.
Previous experience working with Advanced Microsoft Server technologies or advanced technologies from other vendors.
Previous experience in virtualisation and/or cloud computing.
Previous experience in managing client relationships.
Previous experience in a team environment.
