As our Lending Partner, you areresponsible for uplifting the lending knowledge, skills, expertise andperformance across Customer Retail frontline lenders by providing technicallending training, coaching and coach reviews enabling and empowering our peopleto effectively serve our customers and uphold our purpose of Kiwi making Kiwibetter off.
This is a side-by-side coachingrole where you will drive continuous improvement across your regional portfolioof lenders on a regular cadence through group training, 1:1 coaching and smallworkshops in your region both in-person and virtually. You will also proactivelymonitor and support thematic issues across your region as part of the CustomerRetail Performance Lab's continuous feedback loop.
You will improve the number ofpeople progressing through their delegated lending authority levels, deliver a reductionin lending quality assurance errors, and improve customer experience throughquicker and better lending decisions. You will also work alongside our RetailCredit team to support, develop and grow lender capabilities retaining moredecisions closer to our customers.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build onyour strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hearfrom you if you have some of the following:

You are an experienced residential property lender in the NZ Banking or Mortgage industries. Have proven experience in coaching and facilitation. Enjoy giving inspirational presentations to groups. Have excellent engagement, communication, and relationship management skills. Are highly motivated and can work autonomously, while also thriving working with people. Have demonstrated business acumen including the ability to analyse data and trends to identify skill gaps and develop strategies to address them. Preferably hold NZQA NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5 or equivalency) in Personal Lending; Residential Property Lending. Abackground in residential lending is essential!
