About this role
As our Lending and Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing lending support from the application process through to loan generation. This role requires someone who is energetic, highly driven and with a strong customer focus who can establish effective professional relationships across our portfolio of clients.
As a Lending and Sales Specialist, you will be:
Working with the customer from the first point of contact, understanding the customer's needs, adopting the applicable products, and completing the loan documents.
Completing documentation and ensuring fulfilment of compliance requirements.
Building customer relationships throughout their loan journey and creating further opportunities within their networks.
Advocating for a trusted local brand, contributing to the success of our local community and the MTF Finance network.
Working with management to develop and implement sales plans to ensure achievement of agreed objectives and sales targets, maintaining low arrears and compliance with relevant law.
Identifying and servicing business opportunities with clients.
Achieving portfolio and sales income, profit and growth targets.
Assisting with the development and promotion of the MTF Finance brand in the market while professionally attending networking events as required.
Necessary skills and experience:
An excellent communicator who enjoys interacting with customers and has a flexible approach when offering lending solutions.
A proven sales closer, with a strong sales background and work ethic.
An authentic relationship builder, with the motivation and drive to get out into the community and source new business leads.
Well-versed in consumer credit with good knowledge of associated legislation (CCCFA & AML/CFT) is advantageous, but not essential.
A self-managed self-starter in creating opportunities and reaching goals.
Minimum 3 years' lending and/or sales experience.
Confident working with numbers and can grasp new technology products quickly.
