We are looking for an outstanding full-time Legal Support Officer to join our fantastic team on a fixed-term basis, experience in a legal environment is required.

Undertake secretarial work at a senior level to support our lawyers
Proactively support lawyers and other authors
Undertake some team focused administrative tasks
Be confident at building good relationships, both internally and externally
Provide proactive and professional support, including; calendar, email, and meeting management
Work collaboratively within the legal teams and across Christchurch City Council
Facilitate Christchurch City Councils' client relationships and business development through the use of LEX software system
Maintain matter management and client reporting processes for your team
Produce documents to a high standard within specified timeframes
Periodically assist with other tasks and projects for the Business Support team that are not legal-related.
