Parry Field Lawyers – Christchurch, South Island We need someone to join our growing disputes team.
This role involves supporting our winning Court lawyers as an essential part of the team.
You will manage all the moving parts of civil and Family Court trials, interact with clients, liaise with Court staff, manage document preparation, and generally do everything needed to help the team secure great results for our clients.
You'll be working with first-class lawyers, gaining a broad variety of skills and invaluable experience.
We handle a wide range of disputes and Court proceedings, and no two days are the same.
You'll be based in our modern, central city office.
We provide training both on the job and with external modules.
The role may well grow with you to suit your particular skills.
Are you: Interested in people Comfortable in a professional setting Known for excellent attention to detail and grammar Able to type at 65ish WPM Passionate about something, anything really (as long as it's legal – we are lawyers after all!)
Fun to work with Proactive and great at using your initiative Comfortable navigating the internet Quick to pick up software and document management systems Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel, with intermediate to expert-level proficiency Excited by a fast-paced environment Keen to learn If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
