As a Legal Secretary, you will work in a team to support the partners with crucial administrative functions, including client billing, matter management, and partner diary coordination. The Wellington office has a strong team culture, and you'll be collaborating closely with both local and Auckland teams to provide exceptional service to clients.About the Role:In this dynamic role, you will provide crucial support across a range of legal and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:Prepare and issue bills, manage collections, and ensure timely month-end billing.Oversee matter openings and closings, ensuring compliance with internal processes.Manage partner diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate with clients.Prepare court bundles and assist with transactional work.Supporting month-end reporting.Track client interactions and case progress.Work closely with Wellington and Auckland teams for seamless legal support.About You:2+ years strong legal administrative experience, ideally within a large law firm.Proficiency in legal software.Experience with billing, matter management, and diary coordination.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proactive, team-oriented with outstanding communication skills.Positive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to work independently.Opportunities like this are rare so please apply to the role online as soon as possible.
