In this role, you will be working with professionals across civil and commercial litigation, so experience and/or an interest in working in these areas is vital. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, under the leadership of some of the best in the industry who are committed to your personal and career development.If you thrive in a busy environment and are looking for a varied position where you can grow your professional skill set, then this role could be for you.This role will involve:The provision of senior-level Legal Secretarial support to one DirectorCompleting transcribed dictations from directorProviding basic technical support to DirectorMeeting support, document management, billing and reportingSupport with AML/CFT obligationsGeneral document management (such as creation and formatting of Word documents; scanning; opening new client files; drafting engagement letters, etc)A wide range of other administrative duties as requiredAbout youThe right candidate will need to have:At least 2 years prior experience in a law firm, ideally in litigationPrior experience and proficiency with dictationExcellent communications skills (both oral and written)Impeccable time management and ability to prioritise a high level of workflow to meet deadlinesExtensive MS Word, Excel and Outlook skillsAn organised, systematic, and efficient approach to work, with the ability to work electronicallyExcellent attention to detail, highly tuned administration skills, and a diligent work ethicA proactive, can-do approach to workThe ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needsThe ability to work under pressure, hit the ground running, and learn as you goThe ability to build relationships with clients and professionals alikeThe ability to maintain confidentiality and commercial sensitivityFor a confidential discussion about the role, or a copy of the position description, please contact Nicole Huber at ****** note that we will only be considering applicants who have the right to work in New Zealand.
