The role will work closely with the Directors, providing support on a wide range of PA, secretarial, and administrative tasks. In this role, you will be working with specialists across litigation, commercial, employment, family, and wider dispute resolution, so experience and/or an interest in working on complicated legal matters is vital. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, under the leadership of some of the best in the industry who are committed to your personal and career development.If you thrive in a busy environment and are looking for a varied position where you can grow your professional skill set, then this role could be for you.This role will involve:The provision of Legal Secretarial support to one to two Directors, as well as the specialised Korean Team within K3.Meeting support, document management, billing, and reporting.Experience with LINZ, Companies Office, and PPSR searching and registration would be preferred.Experience using ADLS WebForms for drafting and production of final documents would be preferred.General document management (such as creation and formatting of Word documents; scanning; opening new client files; drafting engagement letters, etc).Client relationship management.A wide range of other administrative duties as required.About youThe right candidate will need to have:Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (verbal and written) is preferred.A 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn (experience in a law firm, ideally in litigation, is beneficial but not essential).Excellent communications skills (both oral and written).Impeccable time management and ability to prioritise a high level of workflow to meet deadlines.An organised, systematic, and efficient approach to work, with the ability to work electronically.Excellent attention to detail, highly tuned administration skills, and a diligent work ethic.A proactive, can-do approach to work.The ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs.The ability to work under pressure, hit the ground running, and learn as you go.The ability to build relationships with clients and professionals alike.Extensive MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.The ability to maintain confidentiality and commercial sensitivity.For a confidential discussion about the role, or a copy of the position description, please contact Stella Jo at ****** note that we will only be considering applicants who have the right to work in New Zealand.
