Are you ready to change things up in the new year?Wills Westenra is a boutique law firm in Whangarei with a solid reputation in family law and property law.
We are proud of the service we provide, and of our team who make us who we are.A position has arisen in our firm for someone with experience in conveyancing, wills, and enduring powers of attorney work.
This is a niche and important role, and our ideal candidate would need to display the following skills:Be able to work independently and manage their own files and transactions;Have excellent organisational and communication skills;Be able to build and maintain both client and professional relationships;Be proactive and practical in their thinking, with good attention to detail;Be friendly and professional with a willingness to adapt and carry out a variety of tasks within their role.Your duties and responsibilities would include:Managing conveyancing files for residential property including meeting with clients, preparing agreements and other required documents, and Landonline and e-dealings;Assisting with commercial property transactions;Meeting with clients to take instructions for wills and enduring powers of attorney, drafting and seeing such matters through to completion.This is a full-time position and you must have a current resident status and/or the right to work in New Zealand.
