All staff members also gain access to a full suite of benefits, including flexible working initiatives, wellbeing bonuses, and one day of community leave each year to contribute to matters truly important to their people.The OpportunityThis opportunity sits within Anderson Lloyd's leading Christchurch-based Property team, under the leadership of Partner Mike Kerr. As an experienced Registered Legal Executive, you will operate across a variety of property files, including high-volume residential conveyancing, trust, and subdivision transactions, working with a variety of private and commercial clients.You will feel genuinely valued as a member of the team, with weekly team coffees and regular social events, both within the Property team and across the wider office. Within this environment, you will be regarded as a trusted advisor and experienced operator both internally and externally within the market, actively meeting and maintaining relationships with their loyal portfolio of clients.You can expect daily duties to include:Manage residential, rural, and commercial property sales and purchases.Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing tailored advice and solutions.Prepare, review, and lodge property transfer documents, including Sale and Purchase Agreements.Prepare extensive due diligence reports, including title searches and reviewing Land Information Memorandum (LIM) reports.Liaise with banks and lenders for refinancing arrangements.Advise clients on lease terms, renewals, and termination clauses.Assist with subdivision projects, including liaising with surveyors and councils.Register new titles and manage easements and covenants.Draft and review trust deeds and resolutions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.Provide advice on taxation in relation to trust matters, including distribution rules.Monitor key dates and deadlines, such as settlement dates and finance conditions.Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.You can expect to be part of a collaborative and dynamic culture, surrounded by a high-performing team and a robust support network. This is a team that excels under pressure, working together seamlessly to achieve great results, but also knows how to unwind and enjoy each other's company.Professional RequirementsThis role is suitable for experienced operators and registered legal executives, with 4 + years of proven experience operating in the field.
