At the heart of our business, everything we do must be 'Good enough for mum and dad.'What will you do?We are seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join our in-house Legal Team and to lead the Unit Contracts division of the team. This role reports directly to the General Counsel and involves leading and mentoring the Unit Contracts team, as well as providing legal advice to Ryman on a range of matters including property, commercial, and retirement village issues. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Overseeing all matters relating to the conveyancing of Ryman occupation rights for units in its villages.Preparing and maintaining template documentation relating to Ryman's occupation agreements, as well as implementing changes to improve efficiencies.Supporting other divisions of the business and preparing and reviewing legal documents as required.Responding to and resolving ad hoc legal queries.Leadership of Ryman's Unit Contracts Team.What's in it for you?If you are the sort of person who loves working with a team of people who work to a clear purpose, you'll love this role! You have 4-8 years PQE with relevant experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal role. You value people and kindness and are passionate about delivering results.
