Legal Counsel

We are actively seeking an in-house Legal Counsel who will report to Vista Group's General Counsel and Company Secretary.
This role is responsible for providing sound and timely commercial legal advice and services to all of Vista Group's global teams.
You will be responsible for:
Contract drafting/managementCommercial negotiationCorporate governance and intellectual property managementInstructing and liaising with external professional advisers to the Vista Group companiesGeneral compliance, etc.You will need to be a qualified solicitor with at least four years' experience, ideally in the IT/software/technology space. Your superior drafting, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills will be second to none.
A desire to form a vital part of a busy legal team and a passion for quality service, as well as an outgoing personality and ability to build relationships, are prerequisites.
Minimum Requirements:
Legal qualification to a minimum of Bachelor of LawsCurrent New Zealand practising certificate4+ years PQE legal experienceExcellent technical legal drafting skills in the area of commercial contractsExperience in listed company complianceExperience with software/IT, intellectual property and/or data protection law mattersUS, UK/EU law and/or listed company experience (advantageous)We offer a wide range of benefits including medical insurance for yourself (and your family after one year), flexible working, plus much more.
