The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Partner to join Gallagher's Legal Team for a fixed term of six months.
As a key member of our legal team based at our Hamilton head office, you'll provide exceptional legal support and insights to support decision-making for Gallagher's Animal Management division.
As part of #TeamGallagher you will:
Offer pragmatic legal solutions to the Animal Management business, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic objectives
Draft and assist in negotiating crucial contracts to facilitate smooth business operations
Collaborate closely with the Animal Management team along with the broader Legal team, and stakeholders across the Gallagher business.

We're looking for someone with the energy and passion to thrive in a dynamic, growth focused environment, who also has:
LLB degree (minimum) and a current practicing certificate
4-8 years PQE, with legal experience in commercial and contract law
Proven track record in a high-performing team environment
Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
Customer-focused approach with a dedication to exceeding internal and external customer expectations
Self-motivated with exceptional planning, organisational, and prioritisation abilities
Collaborative mindset, capable of effectively engaging with cross-functional teams to deliver desired outcomes
Proactive in identifying and solving problems using innovative approaches
Additional experience in a commercial organisation is preferred but not essential.
