About Our ClientOur client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm that specialises in property and commercial law, looking for an experienced legal assistant to join their team. They provide expert legal services to a diverse range of clients, from first-home buyers to farm owners, as well as high-profile developer and commercial clients.You'll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team of lawyers, including two to three successful authors, who are passionate about what they do. The firm offers a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering professional growth and work-life balance.About the RoleIn this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the firm's busy property team across a variety of property-related and conveyancing files.Key responsibilities include:Schedule client meetings and maintain communication throughout the transaction process.Assist clients with completing and submitting necessary forms or documentation.Assist with complex documents related to subdivisions, easements, and covenants.Draft basic legal documentation, including letters of engagement, wills, and EPAs.Liaise with the firm's trust accountant to monitor payments.Manage title searches and verify property information.Prepare and lodge Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) e-dealings.Maintain accurate and updated property files (physical and electronic).Liaise with banks, real estate agents, councils, and other parties involved in the transaction.Track and communicate key dates and deadlines to ensure all steps are completed within required timeframes.Administer monthly billing reports and send client invoices.Calendar and inbox management for senior authors.About YouWe are looking for a motivated and organised Legal Administrator with a passion for property and commercial law. You'll bring strong skills and a proactive attitude to the role, helping the team thrive in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this position, you'll need:Experience as a Legal Secretary or PA in property and commercial law for at least 4 years, with an interest in supporting a variety of conveyancing processes.Knowledge of agribusiness or rural law (preferred but not essential).Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Great communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.A desire for growth and career development within a supportive, professional environment.A relevant NZ work visa.Register your Interest:Either use the Apply Now button or get in touch with Emily Watson at ******
