About The Firm

I am delighted to be working with a wonderful firm based in the beautiful Otautahi, Christchurch NZ. They are currently looking to bring on an experienced Legal Assistant that has experience working across a range of practice areas. Commercial, Property, & Private Client experience is desired however we are open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds.

About The Opportunity

This opportunity involves supporting three to four authors working across a range of Property, Commercial, and Private Client matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in all these areas, but if you have relevant legal experience in one or more of them, we would still love to see your application.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to ensure Solicitors work efficiently
Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents
Prepare settlement statements and statements of account
Manage and organise files
Handle diary management and invoicing matters
Arrange travel and meetings
Perform general ad-hoc tasks, including managing emails, calendars, and phone calls
Engage with clients in person, by email, or by telephone

About You

An experienced Legal Assistant.
Experience working across at least one of the following Property, Commercial, or Private Client matters.
Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Enjoy working within a fast-paced environment.
