Au Mahi | What You Will Do We have an exciting opportunity for a Pukenga | Lecturer (Teaching & Administration) to work in a team to deliver the Masters in Organisational Psychology programme, offered through UC Online.
The Master of Organisational Psychology is designed to equip and upskill aspiring and established leaders, managers, and Human Resource professionals with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change and improve organisational effectiveness.
The programme is delivered in a fully online learning environment, aimed at working professionals with a focus on adult learners.
Your key responsibilities will involve mentoring and supporting learners, facilitating weekly online meetings, providing assessment feedback, and assisting learners with their course progress.
The successful candidate will be required to have a Masters, but a PhD or equivalent in Psychology (NZQA Level 10) is desired.
A specialization in Organizational Psychology, or equivalent practical, professional or scholarly experience in a relevant field will be desirable.
Experience teaching in a relevant field, or online-related competencies will be a benefit.
Some research experience is beneficial, but an extensive research-based portfolio is not required.
To be considered you will: Demonstrate an understanding of, and experience in, delivering effective teaching methods.
Be comfortable engaging students in an online environment.
Show evidence of reflective learning and continuous professional development.
Have expert knowledge in Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
Demonstrate an understanding of bicultural and multicultural issues in Aotearoa New Zealand society.

This role sits within the Academic Staff, Associated Staff and Academic Support Staff Collective Agreement and the following salary scale applies: Lecturer (Teaching and Administration Grade 2.01 - 2.04) $79,068 p.a.
