Full Time Application Closes 24 Oct 2024 Hawkes Bay - Napier Teacher or Instructor Course Development* Participate in the ongoing curriculum development of Skills for Learning and Working programme (Supported Learners)* Participate in the development of course materials as per unit standard requirementsStudent Learning* Teach specific subjects in Skills for Learning and Working (Supported Learners) as agreed* Provide defined learning objective and teaching plans in accordance with curriculum development.
* Regularly review, update and revise teaching content and process relative to changing requirements* Facilitate the learning process through a wide variety of experiences and activities by encouraging students to participate in and accept responsibility for their own learning.
* Maintain professional standards of practice and act as a role model in teaching situations.
* Participate in the development of course materials to ensure relevance to students* Provide relevant practical learning experience within the Institute and wider community, suited to students of a wide range of ages, life experience and cultural backgrounds.
* Liaise with caregivers, disability support groups and supported employment personnel, as appropriate, in developing and arranging student learning experiences in the practice setting.
