The successful applicant will actively engage in facilitating the delivery of education in the undergraduate and postgraduate podiatry programmes. As the Department is committed to advancing a Te Tiriti-honouring curriculum, you will contribute to this kaupapa, through recognition and advancement of responsibilities and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and within a University and bicultural context. You will also be expected to contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students and be actively involved in research, significantly contributing to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.
Applicants will be a registered podiatrist with a strong clinical and academic background. The successful applicant will have a relevant teaching qualification, or be committed to completing a tertiary teaching qualification, as well as a postgraduate supervision programme, within the first year of employment. Candidates will have knowledge and practice in the principles of equity and diversity, and have understanding and ideally experience of te ao Maori and matauranga Maori. Candidates will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.

Salary Range: $89,000 - $142,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience) - pro rata
