Au Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to teach and conduct research in Learning and Behaviour.
The teaching load will comprise of two courses: Learning and Behaviour Analysis (PSYC384) and Behavioural Interventions (PSYC457). The course coordinator will develop and deliver both courses.
The role will also involve establishing a research programme in human and/or animal learning, and making service contributions to School, Faculty and/or University.
A PhD in psychology, neuroscience or an aligned discipline is required.

Demonstrate an understanding of, and experience in, delivering effective teaching methods that enable a wide range of learners to succeed.
Provide evidence of reflective learning and continuous professional development.
Demonstrate expertise in learning and behaviour, including applied behavioural analysis.
Demonstrate expertise in curriculum design, development and delivery for both on-campus and distance delivery.
Demonstrate an understanding of bicultural and multicultural issues in Aotearoa New Zealand society, including a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi | The Treaty of Waitangi.
Provide evidence of research capability in the psychological principles of learning and behaviour.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including students, faculty and other stakeholders.

This role sits within the Academic Staff, Associated Staff and Academic Support Staff Collective Agreement and the following salary scale applies: Lecturer $89,645 p.a. - $108,144 p.a, Senior Lecturer $113,826 p.a. - $129,098 p.a.
