The position involves actively contributing to the research profile of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems through the pursuit of a programme of impactful research; high-quality teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; curriculum development; postgraduate research supervision; engaging with external stakeholders; and contributing to departmental and university service.
Mou | Who You Are You will have a PhD in Law or Taxation with an aim to build an international reputation, while making an impact on the local community.
Candidates for this position should be able to demonstrate high-level written and oral communication skills.
Successful candidates for the Senior Lecturer position should have published papers in high-ranking journals and for the Lecturer position have the ability to publish in high-ranking journals.
All candidates should have outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to quality teaching delivery; and be able and willing to contribute to Department, wider University, and professional service activities.

The following salary scales apply from 2024: Lecturer salary range $89,645 to $108,144 and Senior Lecturer $113,826 to $121,638.
