The Department of Mechanical Engineering within the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences (SECMS) at AUT is seeking to appoint permanent staff in either a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Associate Professor position. Candidates should have a PhD and a record of teaching experience and research success in an area of Mechanical Systems, Design and Automation, or related fields in Mechanical Engineering. The commencement date will be before January 2025 or by negotiation. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of four departments of the SECMS and currently has academic programmes in Mechanical and Mechatronics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with strong interests in Energy, Design, Materials and Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, System Dynamics and Control, Robotics, and Mechatronics. Our programs are contemporary and popular, and we have built a reputation for excellence in teaching, research, and engagement with the wider community through the dedication and expertise of our staff.
