The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's relevant experience.The successful applicant will have a broad knowledge of all aspects of Silviculture, including alternative silvicultural systems, species selection, deployment strategies, establishment, tending and the use of decision support systems. You will have strong quantitative skills in experimental design, statistical analysis and modelling. You will have a broad world view and deep understanding of the forestry sector. You will bring both academic credentials and industry knowledge to this position and will also be expected to develop links with and contribute to the wider forestry profession at local, national and international levels.Mou | Who You AreApplicants will hold a Ph.D. degree in Forestry Science (or a closely aligned discipline), and have a demonstrated record of published research.
