Lecturer - Perioperative Practice

Permanent, full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment We are looking for an experienced, registered health professional with experience in the perioperative environment, and a passion for out-of-hospital education and research to fill one permanent lecturing position for our Bachelor of Health Science in Perioperative Practice programme.

Successful applicants will join a supportive and collaborative team of academic staff, actively contributing to the delivery of education in the undergraduate Perioperative Practice programme.
There is an expectation that appointees will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.
While the position is full-time, part-time options may be considered.

The ideal candidates will hold, or show interest in pursuing, a master's qualification in health or science.
They should have recent clinical experience in a perioperative hospital environment, such as working as an Anaesthetic Technician or in PACU or Scrub/Circulating roles.
They will embody the School's vision and values, with a dedication to continuous professional development, supported by the AUT staff development program.

This position, based in Auckland, requires an individual who will model best clinical practice in their profession and education methods.
