The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a closely related field, a research and scholarship record of excellence at a national and international level, demonstrated by impactful publications in top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, CVPR or ACL, and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of how their research could enhance professional practice and contribute to the community in a manner consistent with the university's commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Candidates seeking a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) appointment will be expected to have demonstrated excellence in teaching and postgraduate supervision, and a record of successful applications for research grants.
