We are seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar to contribute to the development of our Innovation and Entrepreneurship team within the broader Management group in the Department of Management, Marketing & Tourism.
The group has a strong focus on innovative practices and the entrepreneurial capability in bicultural Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally, that meets the University's strategic mission of 'engaging, empowering and making a difference'.
Applicants conducting empirical research across any functional domain within the innovation and entrepreneurship field will be considered.Mou | Who You AreApplicants should have a Ph.D. in a subject relevant to the position (applicants close to finalising their Ph.D. will also be considered).
Applicants should demonstrate a strong record of empirically based publications in internationally recognised high-quality academic journals, some experience in the supervision of thesis students (commensurate with the academic rank being applied for) and have good teaching skills.
Some experience in academic leadership and in securing research grants is desirable (again, commensurate with rank).
Applicants should have experience and/or be willing to teach introductory and advanced courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Candidates with teaching and research experience in Innovation and Technology Management, Creativity and Innovation, Indigenous and Minority Entrepreneurship, or International Entrepreneurship will be favourably considered for the position.Mahi Ngatahi | Who You Will Work WithNau mai, haere mai.
