We are looking for a dynamic individual who will bring professional and academic experience to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and postgraduate supervision within the discipline of finance and technology. You will have the skills and experience to provide leadership and innovation in teaching. Along with teaching, your well-defined programme of research will help to advance research capacities, develop strategic cross and inter-disciplinary research initiatives, and engage with the community.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours a week). Salary will be in the range from $87,500 to $104,322 per year dependent on the skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. All applications must be submitted through the online portal; emailed applications will not be accepted.

You will bring a passion for, and expertise in Banking, Finance and/or Financial Technology, with a PhD in these disciplines or a relevant field. In this role, you will apply your teaching skills, including the ability to lecture to large classes as well as conducting relevant public seminars and workshops effectively.
You will be motivated to be involved in all aspects of teaching and learning, including developing research informed material, and delivering content in innovative ways both face-to-face and online. You will be a supportive supervisor of graduate and postgraduate students and their research, alongside your own established and high-level record of impactful research, relevant to finance and technology. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an understanding of how your research could enhance professional practice and community.
