Learning Support Teacher

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts.
This position is for a permanent full-time Learning Support Teacher, commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2025 (17 January 2025).
The role involves working with ORS students and teaching classes with learning needs. The successful applicant will be a positive and empathic team player.
Please state your supporting subjects. Experience in working in specialist school environments would be highly advantageous. We also encourage primary-trained applicants to apply, as we are seeking someone with knowledge of Levels 1-3 of the New Zealand Curriculum .
Auckland Grammar School offers both NCEA and CIE qualifications. It is the school's expectation that teaching staff participate fully in the extracurricular programme.
The remuneration will be based on the New Zealand Secondary Teachers Collective (2022 to 2025). Applicants must hold a teaching qualification as prescribed by NZQA and have a current Practising Certificate issued by the New Zealand Teachers Council.
