Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacherEnglish, Te reo MaoriRotorua East Kahui Ako is advertising for a learning support coordinator for 2025 and beyond. The LSC will work as part of a team with three other LSCs, supportive Kahui Ako leadership, and kura from ECE to Secondary.Learning support coordinator, full-time, permanent position starting beginning of term 1 2025. The successful applicant will work within the learning support delivery model (LSDM).To be considered for the position, applicants must be a registered teacher and have:Demonstrated successful experience in working with students and young people with learning support needs in the classroomA sound knowledge, commitment to and understanding of the learning support system and the learning support action plan prioritiesThe ability to engage at a school and Kahui Ako leadership levelInfluencing skills at a working level within a school and the wider Kahui AkoAn understanding and knowledge of culturally responsive and relational pedagogy is essentialA current teaching practising certificate and a relevant teaching qualificationThe ability to work with the Rumaki and Aoraki settings would be very beneficial.How to applyPlease send your CV and direct enquiries to:Physical address:Porikapa Road, Te Ngae, Rotorua
