Learning Support Coordinator

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Awahono School - Grey Valley is looking for an experienced teacher to take on the role of Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) within a cluster of four schools as part of their Kahui Ako initiative. The key responsibilities for this position include:
Key Responsibilities Collaborating with leadership: Partner with the leadership teams of schools and kura to ensure every student receives the appropriate support for their learning and progress. Work collaboratively with other LSCs across the cluster to coordinate and enhance support for students.
Supporting families: Build strong relationships with parents and whanau, helping them effectively engage and partner with their child's school.
Engaging with stakeholders: Work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including teachers, support staff, and external agencies, to foster learning opportunities and provide necessary resources and interventions.
This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a strong commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments.
