We are seeking to modernise the administration of justice by replacing highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based process with a new digital case management solution transforming the way people access and experience justice in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Te Haeata / The Opportunity As the Learning Lead for the Te Au Reka programme, you will oversee the end-to-end learning solution process, ensuring that our diverse learner groups including OSD staff, judiciary, legal professionals, and third-party providers are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage effectively with our new digital solution.
You will lead a dedicated team responsible for the planning, design and delivery of innovative and engaging learning solutions that align with the Ministry's strategic direction.
Your role is crucial in empowering learners and ensuring that our training initiatives meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
You will collaborate with the Te Au Reka Change and Process teams, operational groups, and key stakeholders to design the learning solutions and will report into the Learning and Development function of the courts and tribunals.
O pukenga / Skills and Experience To be successful in this position you will have : Extensive experience in learning design and development, ideally within a large-scale transformation or digital initiative.
Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of empowering and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of an organisation.
Project management expertise to ensure learning initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Solid understanding of adult learning principles, concepts and techniques with demonstratable experience applying these to successfully achieve learning project outcomes.
