About Liger Leadership Academy
The Liger Leadership Academy is committed to transforming education by fostering innovative, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences. Our unique learning framework goes beyond traditional academic achievements, encouraging students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for the complexities of the modern world. 50% of our learner's time is focused on Essential learning - Maths, Literacy, Humanities, Science, and 50% for Explorations, which are Liger's project, experiential and opportunity-based projects.
Key Responsibilities of a Liger Facilitator:
Design great learning: Learning that goes beyond the ordinary, incorporating relevant, exciting and complex concepts, real-world applications, and experiential learning that captivate and challenge.
Inspire and Innovate: Utilise cutting-edge technology and creative problem-solving strategies to foster an environment where students are excited to explore the complexities of the world around them.
Lead with Passion: Engage students with dynamic teaching methods and inspiring projects that go far beyond textbook learning.
Empower learners: Mentor students to not only grasp scientific principles but to apply them in innovative ways, encouraging them to think critically and solve real-world problems.
Collaborate and Create: Work with a team of forward-thinking educators to integrate interdisciplinary approaches, develop unique educational strategies, and contribute to a culture of academic and personal excellence.
Liger Facilitator not Teacher:
At Liger, we believe in the power of facilitation over traditional teaching. Facilitation is about guiding and inspiring students to discover and construct their own understanding. Our priority is to develop critical thinking, independence and foster creativity, so Liger Facilitators create dynamic learning where students actively engage, question, and explore.
