Our location on Auckland's doorstep means the delivery of goods is quick, the cost of goods is low, and we are focusing on reducing our carbon footprint to become a sustainable Port.We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and organised Learning & Development Administrator to become the admin superstar and key support within our Learning and Development Team. As the glue that holds the team together, you will play an essential role in coordinating, supporting, and enhancing the delivery of learning initiatives across the organisation.Reporting into the Learning Systems and Quality Manager the focus of this role is primarily to:Administer training records for both internal and external POAL learners, ensuring documents are scanned and learning profiles are up to date.Set up for internal events, print learning materials, set up the training room, and pick up catering and any event resources when required.Database entry ensuring appropriate documents are added into the system and sent to the appropriate people.ABOUT YOU | Ko wai koeTo be outstanding in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following:Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, ideally within a learning and development environment, though not required.Intermediate computer skills, particularly Microsoft suite of products.Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, problem solve and improve products and services.Demonstrated time management and proven on-time delivery skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to implement cost savings initiatives.Ability to understand and respond to customer needs effectively.Experience working in a complex organisation supporting more than one department.Proven ability to multi-task, juggling conflicting priorities.Experience in using learning management systems or similar software platforms.Our employee benefits and perks include:Free onsite parking, annual flu shot, confidential counselling and support services.Free internal shuttle service to public transport hubs.Opportunity to participate in the 5th week annual leave programme.Career progression opportunities.Flexible working hours and remote options.Access to an onsite café and gym.Access to discounts at various local businesses.We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and consider all employees part of the port whanau.
