Learning Assistants/Teacher Aides (Fixed-Term) Fixed-Term contracts to December 2025 Albany location with park-like grounds The opportunity | Te Whiwhingamahi Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland's North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme. The Learning Assistant role supports specific students needing extra assistance with subjects like English, Mathematics, Science and Humanities. You will seek to engage the students in tasks as provided by their teacher. The hours will be approximately 20 - 30 hours per week, over a 7-day timetable, worked between 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. These are term time only roles. The ideal candidates will bring the following skills and experience: Patience and enjoyment in working with students Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google docs/Gmail Committed to Kristin's values; "Progress with vision, integrity and love".
