Spectrum Foundation serves as the parent company for Spectrum Care and Homes of Choice, all dedicated to enhancing the well-being of disabled individuals and their families in New Zealand. Homes of Choice primarily focuses on housing provision, while Spectrum Care oversees a range of care and support services provided by its staff. Over the past 25 years, the Spectrum Foundation Group has experienced steady growth, and collectively, these three charitable entities now employ approximately 1,300 individuals throughout the North Island. In addition to its philanthropic endeavours, Spectrum Foundation offers shared services to both Spectrum Care and Homes of Choice. Learning and Development is one of the shared services offered.
As an L&D Facilitator, you will be our champion of growth, designing epic learning quests, unleashing your creativity, and inspiring our team to reach new heights. You can be expected to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop content and deliver or facilitate learning opportunities to both groups and individuals in a virtual, face-to-face, and blended context.
Key to your success will be your ability to harness technology such as e-learning, our learning management system, content authoring tools like Articulate 360, webinars, and video conferencing for efficient and effective reach for remote learners. However, there will also be plenty of opportunities to engage with learners on a face-to-face and one-to-one basis.
Based in our Central Auckland office and reporting to the Learning & Development Lead, the ideal candidate for this opportunity is someone with a strong background in adult learning who also has some experience in online or e-learning, industry qualifications, and liaising with Industry Training Organisations (ITOs). The ability to develop well-researched and engaging content is just as important as your talent for presentation.
Your superpowers:
A tertiary qualification in education, human resources, health and/or human sciences.Up-to-date knowledge of L&D trends and methodologies, including blended and micro-learningA proven track record of designing and delivering astounding training programmes.Ability to conduct a learning needs analysis.Lightning-fast facilitation skills that keep audiences on the edge of their seats.Communication skills that could charm the socks off a robot.A creative brain that never stops spinning new ways to make learning fun.A passion for growth and a contagious enthusiasm that could light up a city.Relevant sector experience and familiarity with NZQA and ITO's.Being a workplace assessor will have a great advantage.Experience with authoring/design software like iSpring or Articulate.Holding a class 1 driver's licence.The Perks:
