Learning And Capability Partner

Details of the offer

At Emerge Aotearoa, we drive innovation and foster growth across our organisation. As we aspire to become a Tangata Tiriti organisation, we're dedicated to supporting mental health, addiction, disability, offender rehabilitation, well-being, and housing services nationwide. With a team of 1,500 kaimahi, we're committed to making a real difference in communities across Aotearoa. Our values—Whakawhanaunga, Manaaki, Ako, and Whakamana—guide everything we do.
An exciting opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, and we're looking for someone passionate about empowering our kaimahi to thrive. As a Learning and Capability Partner, you'll create and deliver engaging, confidence-boosting learning experiences for kaimahi (employees).
You'll design, develop, and reimagine learning solutions using various methodologies, from virtual and in-person workshops to eLearning. Partnering with subject matter experts, you'll build and deliver training that enhances our kaimahi's capability and helps them provide outstanding support to tangata whaiora (clients) and their whanau.
A background in the Health and Disability sector is a plus, but your ability to connect with adult learners and deliver impactful training is what we value most. Regular overnight travel will be part of the role, supporting services across the Midland region and occasionally Auckland.
We're keen to hear from people who have:
A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., New Zealand Certificate in Adult Teaching/Education, Level 5)
Experience in the health/disability sector, ideally working with tangata whaiora
At least three years of experience in facilitation, education, or training
Proven skills in creating diverse training materials (eLearning, videos, webinars, etc.)
Strong facilitation skills for group and individual learning
A solid understanding of adult learning principles
The ability to make sound decisions that balance kaimahi needs and organisational goals
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
A full New Zealand driver's licence, with flexibility to travel as needed
We pride ourselves on a positive team culture, where support, collaboration, and fun are part of our daily routine. With three well-being leave days and flexible working arrangements, we prioritise your well-being and work-life balance. Join us and be part of a team that celebrates success and nurtures growth.
Salary: $90,511.16 - $102,071.37 per annum (placement within this band will be determined by the extent to which candidates meet or exceed the relevant qualifications and experience requirements).
Me pehea te tono mai | How to apply
While we are passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive organisation, we are unable to consider applications from anyone who does not currently have the right to legally work in Aotearoa, New Zealand. The role will be advertised until filled.
